This is one of the best examples of this model of Selmer I have ever seen and I had the pleasure of completely re-padding it just over 1 year ago. Seeing every key close up before padding and corking I couldn’t see any previous bad workmanship or wear to the keys.
It plays faultlessly top to bottom.

This belongs to my customer who bought it in 1957 at the age of 13. He had a grocery round to save up 127 pounds 12 shillings and 6 pennies to pay for it. He played in lots of big bands till 1966 when he stopped playing. The sax has been in retirement since then. It has been relacquered but it is a very nice job.

This instrument was converted 15 years ago by myself. The conversion was to modify the keys to help the ergonomics, it was then sold on and other modifications were made by another repairer these are ringed in red.
